Merlin collection, the magic of color

There is a new, essential wild card in Güell Lamadrid‘s portfolio: Merlin collection.

It stands out for its herringbone and for its attractive palette of 30 colors, with polished finishing which provides the fabric with a touch of peach skin and vintage look.

The wonderful color installations of Christo and Jeanne-Claude

Along with his deceased wife Jeanne-Claude, Christo has spent the last 57 years redefining the parameters of installation and earth art. His works are simply magical. By using cheap and daily material like fabric, tape and plastic and a practice backed by the sale of architectural drawings and models, the artists noticed that there are many ideas that sound completely fantastic until they are realized. The truth is that they have managed to create unimaginable installations. These are some of their more spectacular projects:

The London Mastaba, Serpentine Lake, Hyde Park, 2016-18

Surrounded Islands, Biscayne Bay, Miami, 1980–83

Floating Piers, Lake Iseo, Italy, 2016

Valley Curtain, Rifle, Colorado, 1972

The Gates, Central Park, New York City, 2005

The Umbrellas, Japan-USA, 1984-91
